Book 2: Monster Hunter Legion

Vegas Baby!

Vegas Baby!

♦♦♦ My husband and I have read every book in the Monster Hunter series. This is another decent, action-packed, continuation of the Monster Hunter International folks saving the world, this time mostly Vegas, but still. You know that something big is gonna happen when all the world’s best hunters go to Las Vegas for a secret monster killer convention and we are not disappointed. Egos, hunters, alcohol and monsters clash.  A fun read. All the blood, guts, evil, undead, monsters and slime converge on The Strip. And, well, what happens in Vegas…

Week 30: Monster Hunter International

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ So, there really are such things as vampires, zombies and other monsters, but our government keeps it a secret so we don’t all panic. Luckily for us, however, there are Monster Hunters. This story starts in Dallas, and moves to Alabama where our hero hunters fight to save time; to literally save time, and history, and our world. Our characters were all “normal” people at one time, with normal professions (accountant, teacher, stripper) before they each had an encounter with a monster and survived. Recruited by a group of elite monster bounty hunters, they square off with some angry, violent creatures including the federal monster team who displays about the same amount of animosity toward our group of private hunters. Lots of action, violence, gore and goo to keep my whole family interested. We’re already starting the second, very long book! Enjoy!

Week 35: Monster Hunter Vendetta

♥♥♥♥ So, those monsters we discussed with the first book are back and so are the hunters. There is non-stop action, blood, goo, guts, gore, monsters, guitars and rock stars. Our fearless league of Monster Hunters takes on a crazy cult of very dangerous people, who are playing very dangerous games with powerful un-dead allies. Just know that you can sleep at night with our friends and heroes at MHI on the job. We learn more about their history, and them as individuals in this book. If you enjoyed the first one, hurry up and read this one already! My whole family loves this series.
