Week 6: The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Emotional. Wow. Having just finished the book minutes ago, I’m still reeling and cry-laughing. Emotions, memories and laughter boil up raw and real. That’s what this book is, raw and real. Naked truths, mistakes, faith, kindness — all lessons here.

I listened to this book through Audible. It was beautifully narrated. I highly recommend this one.

A Cake for Polly Pig

A Cake for Polly Pig

Well, this is a story of a time long ago when two young girls became very best friends with funny nicknames. It’s not just two random girls though, this is about me and mine. Our story is featured at Heifer.org’s blog “When Cows Fly.” You’ll see why I donated a Pig in honor of our moms. I hope you might just think of a reason to donate too. And in case you’re wondering, we seldom used plates when we made cakes. Usually we just sat down with the cake and our forks. If only we could eat, okay, get away with eating, that way now! OINK
